Abstract

The concept of empirical research of motivational components of professional development of managers in multi-branch real estate companies is suggested. All components of the model are based on theoretical positions in psychology of motivation and different empirical studies. Appropriate psychodiagnostic methods are offered for each block of features: Self-concept block — test «Self-concept by R. B. Cattell» (16PF);Motivation block — Methods «Focus of personality» by V. Smekal and M. Kucera, questionnaire of motivation by V. K. Gerbachevsiy;Values block — questionnaire by M. Rokeach (N. R. Salikhova modification); Unconscious block — L. Szondi method, E. Warrtegg paired test (computer version);Career orientations block — E. G. Schein «Career orientations» method in modification of A. A. Zhdanovich;Professional development block — socio-demographic questionnaire, expert evaluation. The concept is formalized as a path diagram, which goes through empirical validation. It is believed that career guidance mediate influence of the unconscious, self-esteem, motivation and value scope for professional growth of managers. Two occupational groups — managers and their subordinates, are considered as two main sub-samples for the study of motivational components of professional development.
