PSYCHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LIFE-GUIDING ORIENTATIONS AND EMOTIONAL ORIENTATION OF FUTURE PSYCHOLOGISTS

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to specify features of relationship of life-guiding orientations with the types of emotional orientation of future psychologists. Life-guiding orientations are the dynamic component of the sense sphere of personality. They contain behavioral, cognitive, and emotional components, and are influenced by psychological features of student age. Using the test-questionnaire «Life-guiding orientation» and the method «Finding of the overall emotional orientation of the personality» the profile of emotional orientation of groups of individuals with a high and low level of life-guiding orientations have been obtained. The conclusion has been formulated about the existence of structural and functional relationships between life-guiding orientations and emotional orientation of future psychologists. The presence has been detected of the dynamics of emotional orientation of the personality of future psychologists in the process of studying in the university. Comparison of the profile of emotional orientation that differ by the level value of the General indicator of life-guiding orientations allowed to identify the psychological characteristics of the studied persons. It has been concluded about the interdependence of indicators of life-guiding orientations and emotional values of the personality of future psychologists in accordance with the requirements of the profession.
