Abstract

The article presents a theoretical analysis of the transition, crisis periods and tran-sition state in the personality development. It was found out that adolescence is one of the most difficult of transition periods in personal development. During this period, an adolescent has a special concern about his own appearance, which can acquire the tendency to body image destabilization. As a result of the study of classifications and systems of characteristics of transition periods and transition state in the personal-ity development it was found out that body image destabilization is accompanied by a number of features specific for transition state of a person. Based on this there are defined the perculiarities of body image destabilization as the transition state in the development of the adolescent’s personality. But the transition state has both nega-tive trends and positive trends. This condition can be the beginning of the formation and development of new skills teenager promote its full and harmonious personality. Over time, this can create opportunities to convert teenager with a stakeholder in the subject of life in active creator of his career and his destiny.
