USE THE FAIRY TALE THERAPY IN THE PROGRAM OF GROUP PSYCHOCORRECTIONAL WORK

Abstract

This article provides a description of independently developed program in group psychotherapy using the method of fairy tale therapy. Along with other psychocorrectional methods, group psychotherapy is applied in the various psychological approaches. Fairy tale therapy refers to the traditional methods of self-projective (work with metaphor). The method works with the tale as part of this approach lies in drawing and telling fairy stories client and further work on the story tales, understanding its relationship with life scenario, searching scenario resources and updating them and if necessary — correction scenario based on the story tales. Use the fairy tale therapy in group psychocorrectional program takes place in several stages.

1. Forming psychotherapeutic group.

2. Forming safe, comfortable working and psychological atmosphere.

3. Partisipats are invited to write a personal tale.

4. Providing mini-lectures, in which the psychologist clarifies the truth nature of the characters.

5. Playing each individual tales in psychotherapy group using the psychodrama stage.

6. Final phase of psychotherapeutic work: writing a general group fairy tale and playing it.

7. Securing the progress.

Consequently, the main task of fairy tale therapy use in psychocorrectional group work is to help the participants to understand the basic life values newly and build a productive life program, reborn, getting an incentive for further improvement.
