Abstract

The article deals with the use of the specific developments in legal psychology during the preliminary investigation. The author notes that the features of the investigation as a form of practice specifies the objects and purposes of knowledge, actors, means and methods of activity. However, insufficiently explored matters directly disclose the nature and essence of the investigative activities and is the basis for the conformity assessment of the means and methods of implementation of the objectives and purpose, as well as opportunities and areas for further improvement.

The article states that investigative activities in addition to the high qualification of special knowledge and skills requires psychological knowledge to provide high efficiency and professional interaction needed psychological impact on the people with whom he has contact as a lawyer during the investigative actions.

With this in mind, the investigative activity should be studied as a whole to assess the relevance and admissibility of application specific tools and methods of learning during the investigation. That is why investigative activity is the subject of social relations regulation which involves not just the fulfillment of the criminal procedure law of action and creativity and truth, carried out with the use of extrinsic and inappropriate for other types of legal methods, tools and techniques of psychological technologies.
