REVIEW to the monograph of Zasekina L., Zasekina S., Shevchuk O. "Psycholinguistic approach to traumatic memory." Beau Bassin: LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing, 2017. 244 p. ISBN 978–6133997486
Abstract
Complex traumatic memory is, unfortunately, one of the obvious psychogenetic legacies of the Ukrainian nation, along with all our spiritual heritage. Numerous historical vicissitudes, long centuries of colonial enslavement and the actual absence of their own statehood were accompanied by the inevitable physical, mental, psychological, spiritual oppression and destruction of millions of Ukrainians. And even the acquisition of such a dreamed state independence at the end of the twentieth century did not solve all the problems and did not allow to fully achieve the historically set goals. External enslavement was replaced by numerous crises of the internal formation of the young state, which is the result of a number of external and internal factors in their intertwining - political, economic, religious. And a few years ago, they were joined by such an unexpected war for peaceful Ukrainians, but such a real and insidious war, imposed by foreign imperial ambitions. Thus, the relevance of the topic of the monograph, on the one hand, is obviously due to the chronic psychotraumatization of the Ukrainian nation, as well as a number of other nations around the world.
